Metal rings for correcting the top whorl/level of the tree

With top rings you can adjust the row of branches making up the top whorl so they are kept down.

This can be necessary if your top branches are pointing excessively upwards. The rings are pushed down on the branches so as to keep these in a more horizontal position for that classical Christmas tree look.

When should you use the ring? The top ring should be applied to your trees September time when the branches have finished growing lengthways. Avoid fitting them to branches that are still developing, as they may then bend upwards outside the circumference of the ring. For smaller trees with fairly flexible branches and a less costly alternative you may wish to take a look at our plastic top rings instead.

The advantage of the metal rings

  • They are very strong and robust.
  • They are quickly removed from the trees and can be reused again and again and again..

How to fit the ring onto the tree

Stand with the ring in front of you making sure the tongue of the ring is facing up and points either towards your stomach or away from you - whatever feels easier.

Then you pull the ring apart as if you open a bag. Now a slot emerges towards the front of the ring, which you fit around the stem and over the top whorl. The ring will contract slightly around the stem as you let go.

After that you pull the side branches so they sit over each of the loose ends of the ring and thus this is locked from the pressure.

Now the ring is correctly fitted and will keep your top row/whorl in a position for a perfectly shaped Christmas tree top ensuring that the branches do not point too much upwards.

How to detach the ring

Pull the tongue of the ring and the ring will slip of easily. Come in boxes of 50 pcs.
