As an alternative to our traditional bird sticks, we have now developed this version made in plastic. The stick has ridges in the bottom which makes it easier to screw it on the the spring of the peg. This means that the stick is more likely to stay in place for example when you apply Easy Roller for treating the leaders/top shoots and during other maintenance work.

The material being plastic the stick can of course be reused year after year. You can also use the stick as a perch for birds. By giving the birds this convenience you avoid injuring your fragile leaders by attaching it horizontally with a multi peg. A handy feature of the new stick is that it is slightly thicker in the middle so it is more likely to remain firmly wedged in place.
