With our new Top-X whorl protector you can protect new shoots on the top whorl in the same workflow as you protect your top leaders with bird sticks.
New and improved bird protection
Top-X is our newest tool when it comes to protecting your trees from birds. The small orange X is easily mounted on the bird stick while the stick is already in place on the tree.
Top-X has four "legs" that serve to "block" the way for landing birds on the upper whorl. By mounting the Top-X, you don't have to worry about broken shoots on either the top leader or the upper whorl if you also mount bird sticks on your trees.
Top-X is made of orange UV-proof plastic and can be used for several seasons.
The small X is easy to handle and can be stoved in your bag for bird pegs.
